1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, We collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, We receive your email address and name from Google.
1.2 Bill Data
The App stores the bills you create: bill names, amounts, billing dates, categories, notes, and payment status. This data is entered by you and is required for the App to function.
1.3 Device Information
For push notifications, We collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token. This is a unique device identifier used solely to deliver reminders to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To store and display your bills across your devices
- To send push notification reminders for upcoming bills (based on your notification preferences)
- To sync your data between devices when you sign in
We do not use your bill data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the bill tracking service.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — for account creation and sign-in
- Firebase Firestore (Google) — for storing your bill data and settings
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — for sending push notification reminders
- Google Sign-In — for Google account authentication
These services operate under Google’s privacy policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers (Firebase Firestore). We use Firebase’s built-in security rules so that only you can access your own data. We do not have access to view individual user bills unless you explicitly share them with us for support purposes.
5. Your Control Over Your Data
- You can view, edit, or delete any bill at any time from within the App.
- You can delete your account by contacting us. Account deletion removes all your bill data and settings from our servers.
- You can disable push notifications at any time in the App’s Settings.
6. Data Retention
- Account data and bills are retained for as long as your account exists.
- When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers.
- Anonymized, aggregated data (not linked to any individual) may be retained for app improvement purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the App.
